Lakes where the dirt road runs out

I know were in So Cal and not out in the country but are there any places around here that has that feel of being with no one else arounddown by a lake with an EB? If you have names and locations of such places I would love to look them up and find them.

Would there be any interest from other in this group to maybe make a day out of this?
