    So Cal Broncos Calico 2024

Likely, I know that Goldstone Tracking Station and China Lake have expanded their boundary's. I think that you managed to get all three Tom rigs in that shot! I started a '25 thread: https://socalbroncos.com/forum/threads/so-cal-broncos-calico-2025.897/

    So Cal Broncos Calico 2024

What, that was just a couple a years ago! We're not old! We're not! We're not! We're not! LOL I need to look at the home calendar, make sure that I haven't been conscripted for something that I don't know about, but I'm reasonably sure that I'm clear. Think we're due for another Scenic run out...

Will I really need this big ass tablet?

Making your own routes is pretty easy in Gaia. Like anything there's a learning curve, but it isn't too bad. Looks like you can't try it without creating a login, at the least. Haven't used OnX enough to be able to comment about that aspect in it.

    Motorycle Minamalist in Transition

With age you get a cage? LOL ADV? My suggestion is to keep that minimalist mindset, for the most part. If you're gear oriented you can spend a lot and then have a ton of weight to carry around. Try to avoid that. There's a good "recommended gear" thread around here somewhere. Several of us...

Will I really need this big ass tablet?

I use an iPad Pro for nav. With those it is crucial to get the cell capable version or you will need an external GPS connected to it. I've looked at OnX, but been primarily a Gaia user due mostly to the ease of use in creating routes. The major stumbling block for me was not initially knowing...

D44 TTB 8 lug with a rear D60 and large disc brake conversions

After months of use as a DD I I'm calling this project a success. Pretty amazing to drive a Full Size on 35's that stops like a sports car. It has unintentionally lured more than one appliance driver into thinking that they can tail-gate me since 'they obviously can stop better than that old...

    351W thermostat temps

Need more details. Carb'd or EFI, age and type of coolant pump, type of radiator, etc. EFI tends to run cooler so those engines can run a 190°F-195°F t-stat and be fine. Carb'd I think the warmest that I'd run would be a 180°F, but I sure wouldn't go any colder than a 160°F. The high flow...

If it is out and loose then Chad at All About Transmissions. He is no longer at the address listed on yelp and is now in Camarillo somewhere.

    Spare Tire Mount

If you order anything custom from them be sure that all of your requests are listed on the quote. We had discussed features that I wanted deleted over multiple phone calls and was repeated told that those requests would be no problem. So imagine my surprise when the bumper showed up with those...

For TTB vintage Broncos there is a wealth of posted knowledge at GoFastBroncos. I use mine not as a pure desert pre-runner or as a pure rock crawler, but somewhere in between; and I'm finding that the pre-runner stuff crawls really danged well. Not even the F-250's D50 TTB relieves you of the...

    Confer roof rack mounts/clamps

Well, it seems that either very few others can or I'm not reaching the right market(s). With only two solid orders plus my own need, and two maybe's, I'm going to make these and then pull the plug.

D44 TTB 8 lug with a rear D60 and large disc brake conversions

Wheeee! Does this truck stop!!! 40 to 0 feels like about 2.5 to 3 truck lengths. 50 to 0 isn't noticeably further. I ended up dialing the p-valve down to it's bare minimum and might just be able to run w/o it at all. Simulated panic stop slid all of the tools sitting in the pass Mastercraft seat...

    Confer roof rack mounts/clamps

Those who know about these parts also know that they've been out of production for a long time. They're hard to find and expensive when you do find some. Yet for older rigs they're perfect for attaching a roof rack or an RTT. I'm looking at making a short production run of some clones made in...
