Yeah it’s almost all about the antenna. Get yourself a good antenna with really good gain and mount as high as possible. Hard to do when we drive under low branches. I have the comet SBB5 it’s worked great fir me but even with 50 watts and a good antenna you can go then or around mountains…...

Still doing some research. The decision is to switch the knuckles to a 5 bolt pattern and go with the ford disc brakes setup versus my current 6 bolt knuckle and Chevy setup. The QUESTION is will my Cs work with the new knuckles? Been trying to find info or pictures but can find out. My...

I “signed” for Gold Mountain as of right now not sure if I will be coming up on Wednesday, if so I’ll be there so i can go on John Bull. If i drive up on Thursday I’ll want to be able to do a run and gold mountain is late enough that i should be able to get there in time. I’ll know more later...
Clark to Radford is one of the trails that has a shop. Most of the time we come down Clark stop at the shop or across the shop have lunch and then head back up radford. Also the shop is just off of highway 38 so you could take the highway back if the kids are done fir the day.

Good info. Thanks everyone that posted or reached out to me via DM. Where the tie rod connects to the knuckles on the Reids are closer to the wheel/rim and would for me change my tie rod length and might not work with my 15” rims.
