We'll have a big circle of RV's out at approximately this location:

Since its the weekend before TDS, there won't be too many other folks out there so it should be easy to spot our camp. Just head in on North Marina Dr., go over the saddle between the...
Hey Chad welcome to So Cal Broncos! Around here we don't care whether you wave at other Bronco owners or not. Just know that you are now free from that obligation. I owned a Jeep for a couple of years and when I sold it I was SO glad I didn't have to wave any more LOL. That said, I'll wave at...
Saw that. I remember when they were The Shit. I have some of their fab parts baked into my rigs. But they lost their darling status a while back over customer service issues and never seemed to gain it back. Blue Torch Fab (also RIP) and RuffStuff (still going) took over that darling status for...
Welcome Rule Breaker! You've already broken one rule here, though it's unwritten LOL. We don't call them "first gen" since most of us actually own 66-77's (this group has been around for 25 years). We prefer the term "Early Bronco", and see "first gen" as an insult to the finest 4X4 ever created...
Yeah he lost his house along with his parents house across the street and one other family member's house, all in Pacific Palisades. Here is a LINK to see the segment on CNN with him and his daughter Caitlin. The footage is heartbreaking.
Tom's daughter set up a GoFundMe to help all three...
Yeah I thought I remembered you had a name for that trail (Roll-Over Gulch). When we were there last year we went over the saddle and down the other side a little ways. We went down as far as the top of the narrows where it just becomes a steep talus pile in the crevice of the canyon. It looked...
Sonny, I just looked at ONX and it shows some of the navigable trails on the base map, but the only pre-loaded, named routes they have are:
Phillips Loop - Shows the loop from Ghost Town Road starting up Mule Canyon then turning up Phillips, then where you come out of Phillips on the edge of...
I think there will be quite a bit of interest in the less-carnage routes! Note that most of the chatter for this trip is happening in the So Cal Broncos facebook group so there's quite a bit more interest in it than what is evident here in the forum.
The other day I posted this pic on the SCB Facebook group, from Flash II, during one of those 100-mile trips :)
We went all the way to the Husky monument that day. Some of our route from that day has since been gobbled up by Fort Irwin.
Yeah there will be guys heading out to the trails each of those days. It is highly suggested that you camp over night and get to know the guys (and gals).
Its January 17-19 (MLK weekend). Camping in Mule Canyon or wherever you prefer. A few of us with big motorhomes are staying a the KOA nearby. RVs can make it up into Mule Canyon but I decided a few years ago to stop subjecting my poor old girl to such abuse. Some camp at the ghost town...
Where did you hear the Wildtrak is faster? I've never heard that. Same drivetrain, same vehicle, same gear ratios and tire size.
If you're looking at 2024 and earlier, yes it's a good idea to opt for the Badlands. It's the only way to get the swaybar disconnect. The things the Wildtrak has that...
